EducationUSA Advising Center in Albania has participated at the IV-th edition of Albanian Education Fair.
The fair was held on October 11-13, 2013 at the Palace of Congresses in Tirana, organized by the Tirana Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Albanian Education Fair is an annual medium where education institutions promote their values, academic programs, staff, and job opportunities in the labor market by offering relevant information.

This event was attended by private Institutions of Higher Education and public/ private agencies that operates  in Albania.
During these three days, the EducationUSA booth was visited by high school students, graduate students, teachers and parents interested in studing their children in USA.
This was an incredible way to reach out to the students.
Interested students received  first hand, free, and unbiased information about:

- How to define study your objectives and find appropriate institutions;
-  Admissions requirements for study in a particular field;
-  Testing requirements (TOEFL, PEARSON test of English, GRE, GMAT, SAT,
GED, ACT, etc.);
-  Sources of financial assistance and scholarship opportunities;
- How to write a CV/ résumé, an Essay, Letter of inquiry, Letter of references, etc. for a successful application
-  J. William Fulbright, Hubert H. Humphrey, NeXXt Scholars Program and other exchange programs
The above information was given by the advisers Mrs. Jonida Lamaj and Mrs. Fatjona Qurku.

Also, visitors had many opportunities to know better the Fulbright program, Humphrey program and Youth Exchange and Study ( YES ), informed by Mrs. Mirela Cupi , Assistant for Education and Cultural Affairs at the Public Affair Office at the U.S. Embassy, Mrs. Linda Meniku, program coordinator for YES Albania, and YES Alumni.
The Center’s volunteer distributed the Center’s printed materials and got about 100 contacts to have an electronic communication for the upcomming events.
